Perforated Disc Washers with screws is widely used to fix the lightweight insulation boards .
Large diameter perforated discwashers(35mm /36mm/70mm), for use with screws to hold insulation materials to battens. They can also be used for cracked ceiling repairs. These insulation washers have a 5.5mm diameter hole in the centre. They do not come supplied with screws, meaning you can use the desired length for your application. These metal insulation discs are made from stainless steel for increased corrosion resistance.
Note: Once installed, the head of the fixing should be taped and sealed to avoid any contact with wet plaster. Failure to do so may result in surface damage.

| 1. When using the perforated disc washers to fix tile backer boards to walls and floors, it is recommended to use 15 washers per 1200 x 600mm board. 2. This is only a guide and specifically it's depended on the type, thickness, sub surface and what is to be put onto the board. 3. It is the installers responsibility to use the correct number of washers to hold the tile backer board in place. |
