Insulation pad lacing hook is a nails inconsisting of a pin and tabbed or hooked washer ,mainly used in the fabrication of lacing blankets or removable blankets/pads ,the pins is pressed through the insulation material , the end are locked with a self locking washer ,the two sides of the blankets can be "laced" together by the hooks with tie wire

One advantage with the lacing system is the positive detention of the lacing wire. The insulation blanket can be loosened for access or repositioning, without having to worry about the lacing wire falling away from the hooks. It is also advantageous in maintaining the position of the lacing wire when insulating complex shapes. All L100 Lacing Washers are stamped "NO AB" to indicate no asbestos, at no additional cost. | |
